Li Ann is the Director of Community Estrella.

Community Estrella is a community-based organization created and led by Trans people of color. Their mission is to organize, defend and empower TGNC migrants – including in their workplaces – in Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, and Tennessee.

Board Member

Corinne Green is trans queer and harm reduction activist based in New Orleans. She's done policy for Equality Federation and Transgender Law Center, where she oversaw the passage and implementation of California’s Gender Recognition Act. At home, as part of Louisiana Trans Advocates and Equality Louisiana, she's fended off anti-LGBTQ attacks, helped write the Deep South’s first trans-inclusive non discrimination executive order, passed syringe exchange authorizations, decriminalized naloxone, and most recently revamped the state's overdose Good Samaritan law. She also serves on the board of National Harm Reduction Coalition.

Executive Director of TRANScending Women. Her organization supports and empowers all women-transgender, gender non-conforming, LGBQ, and cis-women with tools and community to become agents of change inside and outside of systems that have traditionally disempowered them.

Jasmine Davis is a Black woman of trans experience, who has been an advocate and leader working passionately in healthcare and advocacy on many different platforms. Her focus is the development of the community both locally and nationally to ensure its safety and success for generations to come. Currently, she works in healthcare and serves on multiple boards with values that align with her own. She is an artist, she is a mother, she is a leader, and most importantly she is a human being.

Jennifer Epps-Addison, J.D. has spent the last 25 years leading justice-centered campaigns and organizations. Her work is rooted in community organizing, cultivating winning strategies, and advancing systems-change campaigns to transform our world and create the conditions where we all have the freedom to thrive. Jennifer is the Founder and Chief Imagineer at Synergy Power Consulting, a coach-collaborator consulting firm dedicated to supporting the next generation of social change leaders. She brings with her a commitment to supporting and growing racial justice organizations, especially Black-led organizations, strengthening investments in power-building efforts in BIPOC communities, and deepening organizing strategies that build power with the white working-class by addressing racism head-on and building authentic alliances based on shared interests and shared values.

Advisor

Wankeeta served most recently as the Racial Justice Program Officer at the Foundation for Louisiana (FFL) where she played a leadership role in advancing the FFL’s racial justice program and is the foundation’s lead on healing justice, both inside of the racial justice program and across other programmatic areas.
Wankeeta continues to serve her community in a multitude of other ways. She was a 2019 New Leaders Council Fellow and is currently a Hulls Leadership Fellow. She served a two-year term as the Board Co-Chair for the Orleans Parish Prison Reform Coalition, working toward a safer, decarcerated New Orleans. She has served on the Louisiana Department of Health's Review, Advise, Inform Board (RAIB) and on the steering committee of the Deep South Chapter of the Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy.
